What your birth moon result shows

The illuminated percentage measures how much of the lunar disk appears lit. The phase label distinguishes the waxing and waning parts of the cycle. It describes a phase range and does not claim the exact moment of a full or new moon.

Check the time zone, especially near midnight

Choose the place where the birth occurred so the local date and time can be interpreted correctly. If your time is unknown, the calculation uses local noon. That reference is useful for exploring the date but cannot stand in for an exact birth time.

Turn the date into a keepsake

You can continue to a digital portrait, add names and write a dedication such as “The day our world grew a little brighter”. Review the free preview before ordering. The gift is delivered as PDF files, with Letter and Tabloid among the sizes you can print yourself.

Questions before you choose

Does the calculator explain my personality?

No. It provides astronomical calculations from Astronomy Engine, not a natal chart, zodiac interpretation or compatibility score.

Is the result a NASA photo?

No. We calculate the phase and illumination for dates from 1940 through today; no photograph from your birth date is retrieved.
